Tiwa Savage has landed in London for Afrorepublik and she's been spotted wearing it-label LAPP the brand and looking amazing.

landed in London ahead of her history-making show Afrorepublik featuring Tekno and her rumoured beau, Wizkid. Fresh from the flight and Tiwa made sure she heated up London wearing LAPP the brand, the must-have label from Victoria Secret Model Leomie Anderson.

Tiwa showed off her incredible body in a fugure-hugging, sporty one-piece. Every day, she's shows us why she earned that coveted spot in Vogue magazine for her stand-out street style.
Tiwa quite literally stops traffic as she poses in the middle of the road.

She finished off the look with a pair of on-trend chunky 'Dad' sneakers by Louis Vuitton and a sporty Dior visor.

    Where feminism meets streetwear

    One their website, LAPP says:
Established in 2016 by Leomie Anderson, this LAPP or LAPP The Brand was created to embody the 21st century girl and producing clothes that represent not only their style but their issues. LAPP stands for ‘Leomie Anderson the Project the Purpose’ and spawned from Leomie’s outspoken stance on women’s issues including the pressures that young girls face in today’s society.
The first capsule collection is based around reclaiming the word ‘No’ and, page as Leomie put it, “Making young girls feel cool to say no in the face of pressure”. After Leomie’s open letter to her readers discussing the issue of consent and the right to say no went viral, Leomie began working on the t-shirt collection and was inspired by phrases girls use to say no to men. The aim was to make girls feel proud and confident to say no to situations they don’t feel comfortable in and remove the negative misogyny around women denying men their bodies, something Anderson feels too many young girls fall victim to.
LAPP is all about empowering women and promoting confidence, positivity and unity through fashion and creating another platform to voice womens issues.
Both the movement and the clothing line were created to empower women and make them feel beautiful both on the inside and outside.

The LAPP platform comes from Victoria Secret model Leomie Anderson who spoke to Hunger TV about her motivations behind starting LAPP, she said:
The first capsule collection by LAPP was inspired by an open letter I wrote on my own personal blog crackedchinacup.com to my young female followers about consent and the right to say no. When I went to an all girls school in south London, I spoke to a group of students about the pressures they faced and a big one was peer pressure to do things they were not comfortable with, with bad decisions leading to even worse outcomes and it got me thinking- it was one of the biggest inspirations behind starting LAPP. I wanted to spread the message and reclaim the word ‘no’ for women and used phrases that women would use to express that.
We love that Tiwa is supporting a good cause and looking incredible whilst doing so!

A pastor who reportedly raped a school girl has been arrested by the police who are also trying to figure out the drug substance mixed in her drink.

A school girl, Lateefat, has been reportedly drugged by a 25-year-old pastor, Oluwaseun Badejo, who also raped her.

This happened in Somolu, Lagos, according to Punch News, which gathered that Badejo had sex with the victim on multiple occasions.
She was rescued by her brother who barged into the suspect's apartment after observing Lateefat's sandals by his doorstep.
A sum of N4000, a handset and iPad, were recovered from the residence of alleged rapist, Saheed.playPastor drugs and rapes menstruating school girl he met on Facebook (ilpopulista)

Oluwaseun Badejo, who is also a screen printer has been handed over to the police.
“She went to school on Monday and did not return home. On Tuesday, her mother became worried and called me to ask if I knew her whereabouts. That was because her school was near my house.
“When I got to her school, I did not see her and I reported back to her mother that she was also not in school. The mother and I went to meet her teacher to ask for her whereabouts.
“The teacher called some of her friends, who seemed to know her movements. They took us to the man’s shop, but she was not there. They suggested we go to the man’s house.
“We hid somewhere, while her friends went to check. They reported back that they found her sandals at the man’s apartment. I am a scout member. So, with my training, I barged in and got the man arrested.
“We saw Lateefat on the bed; she could not stand. We took her to a hospital and handed the man over to the police," the victim's brother who was not identified told Punch News.

Problem started after brother got Lateefat a phone

The victim, Lateefat, became an easy prey for the alleged rapist after her brother bought her a phone.
This had given her unhindered access social media platform Facebook, where the suspect added her.

He reportedly succeeded in the rape attempt due to the help of a friend who is also in police custody.
“Actually, the girl’s brother gave her a mobile phone sometime in January and she opened a Facebookaccount. That was how she accepted the friendship request of the suspect in February and they started chatting.
“After her mother collected the phone from her, the man gave one of Lateefat’s friends his telephone number and succeeded in luring her and the friends to his shop. He bought drinks for them that day.
“The girl in her statement said he later invited Lateefat to his house. The first time she went, he did not do anything to her. It was the second time that he abducted her; she was in her school uniform that day.
“Despite the fact that the girl was menstruating, he forcefully made love to her after drugging her drink.
“She woke up at 1:00 am after midnight. That morning again, he raped her. When the girl tried to shout, he covered her mouth. The girl said all her pleas  fell on deaf ears," a police source told Punch.
The Lagos State Police have their sights set on figuring the substance added to a soft-drink which made the victim lose consciousness for a long period.

Spokesperson for the command, SP Chike Oti, confirmed this in a report also published by Punch News.
He mentioned that Oluwaseun Badejo initiated communication with the school girl by sending her prayers which prompted a meeting.

Ronaldo lives for Champions League final stage - Zidane

      12:50 PM 0
One more for five: Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Champions League four times, scoring in three finals

Cristiano Ronaldo is fit and ready to shine again in a Champions League final, believes Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane as the Spanish giants go for a third straight European Cup against Liverpool on Saturday.

Cristiano Ronaldo is fit and ready to shine again in a Champions League final, believes Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane as the Spanish giants go for a third straight European Cup against Liverpool on Saturday.
Ronaldo can join an elite group of just 10 other players to win five European Cups should Madrid win in Kiev.
The Portuguese became just the second player after legendary Real forward Alfredo di Stefano to score in three different finals by netting twice in a 4-1 rout of Juventus last season to deliver Madrid's 12th European crown.
And he shrugged off fears over an ankle injury picked up in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Barcelona earlier this month by scoring on his return against Villarreal as Madrid wrapped up a disappointing domestic season in La Liga last weekend.
"He's fine. If he is just 140 percent it's no problem," said Zidane when asked if Ronaldo is 150 percent ready.
"We'll have our final training session today and it is the last game of the season. You have to know something, he lives for games like this. We will see that tomorrow."
The contrast in experience between the sides couldn't be greater as Liverpool return to the final after an 11-year wait with no player in their squad who has previously played in a Champions League final.
However, Zidane rejected suggestions his side are the overwhelming favourites to become the first team to win three-in-a-row for 42 years.
"People can say what they like, but we are not favourites, nor are Liverpool," added Zidane.
"As always in a final it is 50-50. We need to play very well to win the game and inside the dressing room we know we are not favourites."

'Fighter' Zidane as good a coach as he was a player - Klopp

      12:49 PM 0
Jurgen Klopp was full of admiration for Zinedine Zidane as he spoke to the media on Friday ahead of the Champions League final

Jurgen Klopp is in no doubt that Zinedine Zidane has shown himself to be as good a coach as he was during a wonderful playing career, as the two men prepare to lead their Liverpool and Real Madrid sides into Saturday's Champions League final.

Jurgen Klopp is in no doubt that Zinedine Zidane has shown himself to be as good a coach as he was during a wonderful playing career, as the two men prepare to lead their Liverpool and Real Madrid sides into Saturday's Champions League final.
"If a lot of people think Zinedine Zidane doesn't have much knowledge of tactical things -- because a lot of people think that about me -- that would be really funny," Klopp told media at Kiev's Olympic Stadium on the eve of the game.
Zidane finds himself in a position to win a third Champions League title despite only becoming Real coach in January 2016.
If he does that, the 45-year-old would equal Bob Paisley and Carlo Ancelotti as the only coaches to have won the European Cup three times.
Despite that, Zidane's detractors see him more as a supervisor of a supremely talented squad rather than a tactical genius.
Klopp, who arrived at Anfield in October 2015, added: "Zidane for me is one of the best five players of all time in football.
"Since two and a half years now, I am longer at Liverpool than he is at Real Madrid and he can win for the third time the Champions League.
"You have to expect he is brilliant, like he was as a player. His players and him seem to work like a clock from Switzerland."
While Zidane was a Champions League and World Cup winner as a player, Klopp's own playing career in his native Germany was modest.
The two have taken different paths in the game, having come from very different backgrounds.
"Zinedine Zidane was his whole life a fighter growing up in Marseille in the area where he has grown up, and to have his kind of career, you need to be a fighter," said the German.
"Only when he was a player, he didn't look like that.
"I saw his face when someone asked him in a press conference about hunger, and he got angry -- the same would happen to me and I am from a small village in the Black Forest."

      Henderson: In our DNA

Klopp and his captain Jordan Henderson faced a huge gathering of media in the Ukrainian capital on Friday along with Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk.
All of them appeared relaxed ahead of the game, as they hope to secure Liverpool's sixth European Cup, and a first since the unforgettable defeat of AC Milan in Istanbul in 2005.
To do so Liverpool must end Real's reign as European champions as the Spanish giants go for a 13th European crown in Kiev.
"We've done fantastically well to get to this point," Henderson said.
"We want to go one step further and be remembered for the right reasons and that is winning the Champions League."
Liverpool's return among the European elite is largely attributed to Klopp's impact as manager.
However, the German has lost his last five finals, including the Europa League final in 2016 when Liverpool lost 3-1 to Sevilla.
And Henderson believes the English giants can use the pain of that defeat for a different outcome against Madrid.
"It hurt that night, but you can use that as motivation going forward and we've done that since that night.
"But it's also important for us to win trophies and hopefully we can start that tomorrow.
"The club have won the competition a few times so it is the DNA of the club to win trophies. We want to win the trophy for fans and the club and we're certainly going in the right direction."

Liverpool bid to get stranded fans to Kiev 'not looking good'

      12:43 PM 0
People walk past a huge trophy set in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev on May 25, 2018, a day before of the 2018 UEFA Champions League Cup final football match between Real Madrid and Liverpool FC

Liverpool's mayor says his bid to get stranded football fans to Kiev for the Champions League final against Real Madrid is "really not looking good" after he was unable to find a crew for a back-up plane.
Liverpool's mayor says his bid to get stranded football fans to Kiev for the Champions League final against Real Madrid is "really not looking good" after he was unable to find a crew for a back-up plane.
Hundreds of supporters face missing the showpiece match in Ukraine after operator Worldchoice Sports cancelled three flights because it did not have sufficient landing slots at Boryspil Airport.
Mayor Joe Anderson said he was working with Kiev's mayor, former world heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, to find a solution for all those who face missing out.
He posted several messages on Twitter on Thursday and Friday promising he was trying to find a solution to the fiasco by sourcing a carrier to provide flights from John Lennon airport.
But he was later forced to admit that a plan he had hatched with Klitschko looked domed to failure.
He said: "No final decision yet but really not looking good - unable to resolve flight situation. With support of @Vitaliy_Klychko, #Kievairport & carrier we had plane & landing slot but crew were coming from the USA and crew rest time a huge barrier. Time against us."
Liverpool announced on Friday that anyone who had bought match tickets directly from the club who was due to be on one of the cancelled flights would be able to claim a refund.
"Supporters who were booked on flight numbers ET8704 and ET8706, and those who were unable to travel on the rearranged ET8700 flight booked through Worldchoice Sports, will be able to claim the refund," the club said on their website.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said the club were trying to find a solution and captain Jordan Henderson expressed his disappointment for those stuck back in England.
"Hopefully they can find an alternative route, if they can't I'm sure they will support us back in Liverpool," Henderson added.
The company repeated its apology on its Twitter account on Friday.
Financial adviser Jason McGimpsey was told on Thursday his flight was cancelled.
He told Britain's Press Association: "Worldchoice Sports had been stalling on giving us e-tickets and exact departure times and it's become clear why that was the case, now finally they've said 'we've cancelled it'."
"I've been offered a refund but it doesn't go anywhere near compensating me for what I've lost," he added.
Chris Bolland, who has supported Liverpool for 50 years, will have to watch the game from home.
"I am gutted, to say the least. I am absolutely disgusted and there is nothing I can do about it," he told the BBC.
"I will now have to watch it with my dear wife -- but that's not a problem as she's a big Liverpool fan as well."
